These handmade journals have an antique photo for the front covers. I’m not exactly sure how old the photos are, but are likely from the early 1900s. The photos are mounted and in excellent condition. Mat board is used for the back covers.
These old photos were unwanted and were discarded by a small museum nearby so I reclaimed them! And I’ve also used mat board scraps from a local framing shop for the back covers.
Handbound with a chain stitch binding.
Each book has 144 pages of 50lb drawing paper. The paper is slightly off-white and has torn edges.
Book size is about 6½” x 4¼” and ¾” thick (or 16.5cm x 11cm x 2cm).
